Bungy Jumping @ Phuket

Bungy Jump - the game which meant for the brave one. Vivio who had always been loving excitement had said YES to it together with Chloe Bb & Chris (= We heard that there's 2 bungy jump in Phuket which one is cheaper than d other. Somehow, we do not wish that the newspapers published a headline titled "Saving of few penny causes death of law students in Malaysia" which sounds pathetic. Hence we paid 2000Baht (RM200) for the Bungy Jump managed by the New Zealand company. The fees included insurance, a cool T-shirt/Singlet and a certificate of courage which I wonder if it contributes to our working resume in future.

The video which consists of the full process of jumping has been uploaded in facebook and I shall upload here with the pictures took while jumping. The feeling is awesome when you dive down from the sky (though technically Im not really diving but jumping) An advice for the first timers - Do not look down and see how high you are standing Coz that doesn't help but to freak you out more. There goes your courage when you stare and admire the scenery under your leg at the platform there.

VioLIn Siem Reap @ Angkor Wat

The second day, we headed to Angkor Wat. The entrance is rather pricey which costs us USD$20 per head per day for tourists. The visiting hour for day of purchase is from 5.30am to 5.30pm. However, we bought the entry pass on 12/4 around 5.30pm hence we are allowed to go in on 12/4 to watch the sunset while the entry pass is dated 13/4. The Angkor Wat is the must-visit spot in Cambodia. You'll be amazed by the architectural work done by those ancient people. We have machines and tools to help us in construction nowadays but people who built Angkor Wat have nothing but their bare hands to construct EVERYTHING. Vivio truly salutes them and applause for their greatness.

For those people who loves photo shooting, Angkor Wat would be a heaven for you BUT it does requires you to do lots of climbing and walking around in order to get the nice shot. Im not professional in photo shooting but im very well in climbing and jumping around so these are SOME of the pictures I took (If you want more, ask from me personally):-

The crafting on Angkor Wat is really awesome. Vivio is so bad in art and seriously wonder how those ancient people manage to come out with such fine and artistic pieces.
However, parts of Angkor Wat has been destoyed by the weather, roots and human being. Few places are close for admission because the building is collapsing due to the rain and no longer safe for entrance. The trees are growing old and the roots had slowly breaks into the structure of the building and causes more damages on the buildings. Besides, some parts of the statute (especially head) has been stolen by people hence we'll see lots headless statute here.

Started to miss Cambodia when I looked back on those pictures. Somehow, I do not wish to stay there coz I LOVE MALAYSIA more.^^ Perhaps should pay another visit during the raining season but not during their new year. Stay tuned for the next tourist spot im heading to on mid of May --> Redang~

VioLIn Siem Reap @ Tonle Sap Lake

Vivio was on vacation to Cambodia during her study week. YES!!~People busy studying, She went on vacation. *envy grins* She was keep texting her friends complaining almost everything once she get down from the plane. Well, it isn't really tat bad after all. If you have less expectation and bear in mind that you are visiting an undeveloped country, it is actually a nice tourist spot.

The thing that she complained most is on the weather. The sunlight is more likely piercing through every inch of your skin harshly, leaving its victorious marks telling you "Hey people, I've conquered you and you are now well-roasted". Undoubtedly, Malaysia is very hot too BUT at least we are gifted with chilled breezes. She has been there 4 few days somehow she is still yet to see a slight movement on the branches nor the leaves even though she is surrounded by all the trees. *sigh* The best description on the weather there will be - placing yourself in an oven marinated with dust.

The first day of my trip is the visit to the well-known Tonle Sap Lake that we used to study about in Geography during our schooling time.Due to the reason that the place is rather undeveloped. Vivio had summarised Tonle Sap Lake in 3colours namely Blue, Brown and Green. Here are the proofs:-People who stays on the Lake conduct all their daily routines on the lake i.e. women from buying groceries to cooking to washing, children from playing to schooling to earning, men from praying to working to resting. Schools, hospitals, restaurants and churches are all built on the the lake. To my surprise, they can even rear pig on the lake. The poo and pee there, but at the same time, the lake is their water resource too.

Playing Basketball

Children playing on the Lake

School

Along the way till the center of the Lake, you can see mother bringing their children aged 2-6years old begging for money or selling soft drinks and souvenirs to you. It is rather pathetic to see these and makes Vivio feel rather lucky that she at least do not have to beg for money and work when she was in that age.

At the end of the trip to Tonle Sap Lake, Vivio was keep thinking that sometimes when we are complaining how God has been cruel to us, comparing ourselves to those who are luckier than us, perhaps we should take a look at what we have and feel content about it comparing to those who are not so lucky. In conclusion, Vivio, you are so damn lucky so STOP complaining anymore!!~

VioLIn KK ~ War Memorial

The war memorial was situated at Kundasang. Guess this is what makes it so different with our Cameron Highland since you wont be able to see such nice place in Cameron. The place is made up of English Garden and Australia Garden. The first 2 pictures are the English Garden and the remaining 2 are Australia Garden. Here are few pictures we took there (=

There are 2 signboards which actually rather misleading but funny. Wonder if its because the place was managed by the British or Australian and that causes them to have a real bad command of BM and it indirectly shows that only Malaysian'll do such uncivilized act since a BM signboard was stood up in English Garden and the visitors are mostly foreigners. Take a look at this ->

Obviously from the first picture, a CCTV'll be rewarded if you steal flowers and paid that RM100 of fine. Well, if you pay $800 (if convert to Ringgit -> 800 x 3.5 = RM2800) then you'll be rewarded with a TV, perhaps a plasma one. So, people, what are you waiting for?? Go grab it today while stock last!!

VioLIn KK ~ Kundasang

We made a trip up to Kundasang early morning somehow we came across a deadly accident that happen on the way there and causes 45minutes of delay. The accident was due to failure in taking over. I remember i used to keep telling people a lame joke about car taking over. There will be only 2 consequences on the taking over which is firstly, you may reach your destination 7minutes earlier or else you'll have to wait till 7days later to reach home. This lame joke was somehow not being mentioned again after a death of a friend. I find it kinda hard to accept the fact that you are telling a friend a joke and the joke turns out to be a reality on him. Just hope that everyone could drive safely (even though Im one of the dangerous drivers BUT Im seriously trying to drive safely already), I do not wish to lose anyone, be it if you are my family, relatives, friends, stranger or even enemy.

Well, back to the trip of Kundasang. It was sort of similar to the Cameron Highlands back in Peninsular. People there do planting - fruits, vegetable, tea n etc, the weather is cool, activities which can be done are such as visiting nursery, sightseeing, hiking (Reachable to Mount Kinabalu) and etc.

We first visited the Mesilau Nature Resort. It is a resort situated somewhere up the hill and made up by few different types of chalet. Perhaps Im not in the luck, I've missed the chance to see Mount Kinabalu due to heavy fog. Aunt Lee told me that you can see the Mount Kinabalu so near and clearly when you are there. Anyhow, Mount Kinabalu has been hiding away from me and I didn't even see it during the entire visit.

We then move to the nursery. Entrance fee was only RM2 with a complimentary rose. There are varieties of plants there, roses are in white, blood red, hot pink and orange. Same applies to hibiscus. The one Im holding is actually just Chrysanthemum. Bad posing~ Here are some pictures on the plant. Some of them look real nice but maybe not on pictures.

VioLIn KK ~ Beach!!

The beach here is awesome, awesome and awesome!!~ I visited the well-known Sutera Harbour and Shangri la Tanjung Aru Resort (STAR) and look at this pictures and Im sure that you'll be loving Sabah too!!

Try imagine yourself at the scenery there. You just sit on the chair listening to the wave and let breeze tenderly towards you. Its just so relaxing and refreshing...I used to love the Penang beach alot but it is used to..No offence to Penangitis but Penang beach is seriously nothing compare to the Sabah.

Here are some other pictures that we took around the resorts (=

Started to miss Sabah so much after posted these pictures *sobz*
