VioLIn Siem Reap @ Angkor Wat

The second day, we headed to Angkor Wat. The entrance is rather pricey which costs us USD$20 per head per day for tourists. The visiting hour for day of purchase is from 5.30am to 5.30pm. However, we bought the entry pass on 12/4 around 5.30pm hence we are allowed to go in on 12/4 to watch the sunset while the entry pass is dated 13/4. The Angkor Wat is the must-visit spot in Cambodia. You'll be amazed by the architectural work done by those ancient people. We have machines and tools to help us in construction nowadays but people who built Angkor Wat have nothing but their bare hands to construct EVERYTHING. Vivio truly salutes them and applause for their greatness.

For those people who loves photo shooting, Angkor Wat would be a heaven for you BUT it does requires you to do lots of climbing and walking around in order to get the nice shot. Im not professional in photo shooting but im very well in climbing and jumping around so these are SOME of the pictures I took (If you want more, ask from me personally):-

The crafting on Angkor Wat is really awesome. Vivio is so bad in art and seriously wonder how those ancient people manage to come out with such fine and artistic pieces.
However, parts of Angkor Wat has been destoyed by the weather, roots and human being. Few places are close for admission because the building is collapsing due to the rain and no longer safe for entrance. The trees are growing old and the roots had slowly breaks into the structure of the building and causes more damages on the buildings. Besides, some parts of the statute (especially head) has been stolen by people hence we'll see lots headless statute here.

Started to miss Cambodia when I looked back on those pictures. Somehow, I do not wish to stay there coz I LOVE MALAYSIA more.^^ Perhaps should pay another visit during the raining season but not during their new year. Stay tuned for the next tourist spot im heading to on mid of May --> Redang~
